Aero-Product Talk #1, 27 Aug 2015

This is the first in a series of talks highlighting aerospace product development initiatives & innovations of Indian aerospace industry (aircrafts,systems & Equipment,Software Tools,experimental satellites etc..) needing collaboration support.

Development of an Advanced Multi-role Intelligent Quad-copter (AMIQ)
is one of the identified launch projects of aerofi.

A team of  3 Post Grads from ISAE SUPAERO-Toulouse, France ,as interns in Genser, who have been working on the Quadcopter Project for last four months, delivered a talk on the challenges faced and the successes achieved during the course of building a quadcopter.

The talk was well received and a live demo captured the audience. Lookout for more developments in this area!


Participation in Aero India 2015, 18 - 22 Feb 2015

First airshow for Mission Aerofi, off to a good start. The light jet project has been officially handed over to aerofi by Genser Aerospace. Download and read the Press Release! File can be found at the bottom of this page.


A Successful Launch!


MISSION Aerospace Foundation of India had a successful launch on 29 Nov 2014 @ NIAS (National Institute of Advanced Studies) Auditorium, IISc campus, Bangalore.

There was a good representation from the Aerospace Industry, Academia, Defense and State Govt.

The chief guest Air Chief Marshal Fali Homi Major PVSM, AVSM, VM, SrC (Retd) delivered a powerful and inspiring address to the august gathering. He urged on home grown technology, future preparation and called to bridge the gap between the defense forces and industry.

A brainstorming session followed by a panel discussion on the need for an organization such as MISSION aerofi in today's aerospace environment brought out many positive aspects along with challenges. A majority have concurred that MISSION aerofi is a great and timely initiative.
 
Energized by the support and positive comments received, MISSION aerofi is moving ahead in this new journey.
